DON STIFFE, the popular Galway folk singer-songwriter will play Monroe’s Live this Saturday at 9.30pm as part of the Galway Sessions Festival 2011.
Don Stiffe released his debut solo album Start Of A Dream in 2006 and since then his profile has risen considerably. In 2009 he played to a crowd of c50,000 at The Volvo Ocean Race in Galway; the same year he performed with Cherish the Ladies on their Irish tour; his song ‘Grosse Isle’ was recorded by Sean Keane, Kate Purcell, and Danish band Moving Cloud; and this year he was a finalist in the All Ireland Talent Show.
