MARTIN MCDONAGH’S The Beauty Queen of Leenane will be staged by Broken Door Theatre in Kudos Nightclub, Oranmore, on Wednesday June 22 and Thursday 23 at 8pm.
Black comedy, melodrama, horror and bleak tragedy combine in The Beauty Queen of Leenane, which follows the fortunes of 40-year-old spinster Maureen and her selfish and manipulative mother Mag.
The play is directed by Samuel Ferry and features Claudia O’Sullivan (Maureen ), Kori Kilduff (Mag ), Darragh O’Brien (Pato Dooley ), and Oisín Robbins (Ray ).
