THE NEXT Testify! night of poetry, spoken word, and song upstairs at the Róisín Dubh on Monday June 6 at 9pm.
Performing at Testify! will be Elaine Feeney, Mikey McCrory, and Biddy O’Loughlin. There will also be open mic spots and the pamphlet project.
Elaine’s debut poetry collection Where’s Katie? is published by Salmon Poetry. In 2008 she won the Cúirt Festival Poetry Grand Slam and she has read at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Electric Picnic.
Mikey McCrory is a poet and songwriter, who is originally from San Francisco. He will recite poems from his forthcoming book and play some new songs. Australia’s Biddy O’Loughlin is a stand-up comedian who has supported Dave McSavage, Reginald D. Hunter, Steve Hughes, Glenn Wool and Phil Nichol. She is also a poet and songwriter.
