This week Galway’s favourite fish shop, Galway Bay Seafood’s will feature on the popular RTE programme Martin’s Still Mad About Fish. The programme is presented by chef Martin Shanahan whose mission is to get people eating more fish!
In this new series Martin travels around Ireland bringing his seafood delights to the people. In this week’s episode he ventures west to Galway and pays Noel Holland a visit at Galway Bay Seafoods. You can enjoy watching Martin cooking scallops and dabs instore tonight (Thursday May 26 ) at 8.30pm on RTE One.
Recipes from all of Martin’s Still Mad About Fish episodes are available instore along with other delicious fish recipes and the staff in store would only be too delighted to help you with tips on cooking all types of seafood.
Galway Bay Seafoods have recently developed some salmon and mackerel products based on new recipes. These are produced at their production facility at the Galway Docks just a few minutes from the city centre.
Speaking from the store at the Docks Noel Holland commented: ‘We’ve given samples to our customers instore, they seem to love them and the response has been amazing. The products are available to purchase instore and are selling extremely well.’
