SHARON SHANNON will play a special charity show in aid of the Animal Heaven Animal Rescue in Monroe’s Live on Wednesday June 22.
Suzanne Gibbons runs AHAR on a voluntary basis in Castleisland, Co. Kerry. The centre is located on a 30 acre farm and has no running water or electricity.
“I was immediately struck by Suzannes dedication and incredible hard work, drawing water for her animals from the nearest river, seven days a week for the past 12 years,” says Sharon. “The centre rescues animals from all over the country...no distance is too far. This is vital work, providing care and assistance for unwanted animals all over Ireland.”
