KEVIN BURKE and Cal Scott, along with RTÉ Vandbrugh String Quartet, are bringing their Irish Session Suite, featuring traditional tunes arranged in the classical style, to the Town Hall Theatre.
Burke, best known for his time in The Bothy Band and Patrick Street, and Scott released the Irish Session Suite as an album which has been called “groundbreaking and original” by Irish Music Magazine.
At next week’s Town Hall Show the duo and the Vandbrugh Quartet will perform the suite, along with a traditional set from Burke and Scott and a classical section from the Vandbrugh.
