STEPHEN MURRAY, one of the most exciting new voices in Irish poetry will be among the performers at Testify! in the Róisín Dubh this Monday at 8pm.
Stephen has just launched his debut collection of poetry, The House of Bees (Salmon ), which was launched at Cúirt. He was also the subject of an extensive interview in the Galway Advertiser (See www.advertiser.ie/galway ).
Also performing on the night are Slam poet Mags Treanor; pianist and singer-songwriter Mister Ebby; and singer-songwriter/guitarist Donal McConnon. The Pamphlet Project will be there as well.
The Pamphlet Project has brought together poets and artists to design a series of pamphlets which will be published every month for a year and launched at Testify! The pamphlets are free and will be left in public spaces, cafés, and pubs where people can easily find and enjoy them, and take them home if they want.
