JAPE, O’DEATH, Cathy Davey, Donal Dineen, Legends of Vegas, and Converse Allstars, and others, will be in Galway this Bank Holiday weekend to play free gigs.
Tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday Galway city plays host to the ‘Coors Light Live at the Latin Quarter’ event featuring a host of concerts and street performances. The full line up is as follows:
Friday: Trad sessions in Taaffes (5.30pm and 9.30pm ) and Tigh Coili (6pm and 9.30pm ); Converse Allstars at The Townhouse (10pm ); DJ Rod at Busker Browns (10pm ); DJ Des Joyce at The Dáil Bar (10pm ); DJ Craig Coughlan at The Front Door (10pm ).

Sunday: There will be trad sessions in Busker Brownes (1pm ), Tigh Coili (2pm and 8pm ), The Quays (6pm ), and Taaffes (5.30pm and 9.30pm ); Pyramid in The Quays (9pm ); DJ Des Free at The Kings Head (9pm ); Declan Folan & The Reserved in The Dáil Bar (10pm ); DJ Des Joyce in The Front Door (10pm ); Pat Shiels in The House Hotel (10pm ); Mad Uncle Harry at The Townhouse (10pm ).
Riff Raff at Spanish Arch Hotel (10.30pm ); The Goddamn Liars at Busker Brownes (10.30pm ); All City Records v Hoya Hoya at Kelly’s (11pm ); Jape and the North Strand Kontra Band at The King’s Head (11pm ); and The Kopy Katz at The Quays Music Hall at midnight.
