GERMAN, BRITISH, Polish, and Irish punk and metal bands will be coming to Galway this weekend to play two charity concerts.
On Saturday Polish hardcore/grindcore band The Bold & The Beautiful will headline Richardson’s Bar with special guests including Neifenbach.
On Sunday in Áras na nGael Rasta Knast (Germany ) and Left For Dead (UK ) will be taking to the stage with support from Galway pop-puksters Stick Around and black metallers Nimh Stil.
The gigs are being run by USvsTHEM and are to raise funds for the Galway Rape Crisis Centre, the GSPCA, and The Sunshine Home in Dublin.
There will also be a metal DJ night in Sally Longs tomorrow where money can be donated to the charities on a ‘pay for a request’ basis. Those who would like to donate a spot prize or get involved in the weekend can contact Daniel on 086 - 3431147.
