RICHARD STRAUSS’ Capriccio, starring American soprano Renée Fleming, will be broadcast live from The Metropolitan Opera, New York, to The Eye Cinema in Wellpark.
Capriccio will be screened on Easter Saturday at 6pm and will also star Sarah Connolly, Joseph Kaiser, Russell Braun, Morten Frank Larsen, and Peter Rose.
This lush romantic opera has been described as the ultimate diva–vehicle. The plot centres around a love triangle of a rich countess, a poet, and a composer.
