Exhibition at Ard Bia

THE ARD Bia restaurant at the Spanish Arch will host an exhibition of paintings of the west coast of Ireland by José María Yagüe Manzanares.

The project is a work in progress with some paintings depicting locations that are very traditional and touristy, while others are just known by the locals.

These paintings were made to fit a regular size suitcase and hang in places that people, locals or tourists, use on a daily basis. The purpose of the project is to reflect both the landscape, and the experience of travelling.

Manzanares studied architecture and fine art in Salamanca, Valladolid and Barcelona universities. See www.objetivosilvania.org and www.ardbia.com
