Martin Staunton & The Lost Parade @ Monroe’s

MARTIN STAUNTON & The Lost Parade will bring their folk-rock styled sound to Monroe’s Live this Saturday at 8pm.

The band is centred around Martin and his sister Emma. Although they are originally from East Galway, they are based in Dublin and regularly play venues like Whelans, The Button Factory, and Vicar Street. The Monroe’s show will be their debut Galway city gig.

In August 2006 they released their first single ‘My Luck Is About To Change’. It went to No 15 in the charts and enjoyed much airplay.

Martin Staunton & The Lost Parade released their debut album in 2009 and it was described by Hotpress as “a powerful, stirring affair...the band are skilled players who perform with just the right amount of restraint, cannily preferring to show off Martin’s impressive pipes.”

For more information and tickets contact Monroe’s on 091 - 583397 or 087 - 9783245.
