Leisureland in Salthill is the venue as High School Rocks visits Galway on Friday April 29. The high energy, foot stomping, totally interactive production features all the big hits from the High School Musical movies, Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, and Glee. Fans of Troy, Gabriella, the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Glee Club will be also be thoroughly entertained. Wildcats are encouraged to bring their dancing shoes, sing along, and join in as much as possible, with a select few chosen to join the cast on stage after a dance off competition.
The show authentically reproduces all the best hits and dance routines with its multi-talented cast led by Conleth Kane. Conleth rose to prominence when he overcame thousands of competitors to reach the final of RTE’s talent show Fame the Musical. He has a wealth of experience in stage shows and television, appearing in the BBC television series Casualty as well as duetting with pop star Pink during a commercial.
The show is based on the High School theme which has been central to the entertainment phenomenon producing several record breaking movies, theatre and television shows. Millions of copies of the music have been sold worldwide and it appears to be growing ever more popular with the younger generation. High School Rocks guarantees to take the audience on a rollercoaster ride of fun to celebrate all of these teen sensations in one fantastic concert.
