Tuam based PlaceMe Recruitment, Ireland's leading sales and marketing recruitment specialist was shortlisted as finalists in the prestigious annual recruitment industry awards held in the Ballsbridge Court Hotel in Dublin this week.
Rewarding excellence in the recruitment industry, this is the second year of the awards hosted by the National Recruitment Federation and the only industry specific awards ceremony of its kind.
PlaceMe Recruitment was shortlisted as finalist in the Best New Agency category which recognised best practice and contribution to the industry from a new recruitment agency.
PlaceMe Recruitment's founder and managing director Ger Teahon commented said he was thrilled to be selected as a finalist in the awards.

Industry experts Mark Fielding, CEO ISME, Kirsty Kirkwood, European head of staffing, State Street; and Sean O'Meara, former chief executive, Young Advertising comprised the independent judging panel who selected the finalists and chose the eventual winners.
Awards were also awarded in a further five categories including Recruiter of the Year, Best Agency Online Service, Best in Sector, Jobseekers Choice, and Agency of the Year.
PlaceMe Recruitment was established in January 2007 to provide recruitment solutions for companies and candidates in the sales and marketing industry.
It opened its Galway office in September 2007 and continued its expansion with the opening of its Dublin office in January of this year.
