THE HIGH Kings, the Irish balladeer group who have taken the US by storm, are returning to Ireland for a nationwide tour which takes in both Galway city and Clifden.
The band will play The Black Box in Galway on Tuesday November 4 at 8pm and The Station House, Clifden, on Friday November 14.
The High Kings - Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Martin Furey, and Darren Holden - are produced by David Downes (who also created the Celtic Woman phenomenon ) and boast a remarkable musical lineage.
Finbarr Clancy is son of musician (and Clancy Brothers relative ) Bobby Clancy; Martin Furey is the son of Finbar Furey, Brian Dunphy is the son of Showband legend Sean Dunphy, and Darren Holden is an accomplished performer who has starred in numerous Broadway productions.
