The Shantalla Residents Association will hold its annual lunch for senior residents at the Clybaun Hotel on Sunday from 2pm to 6pm with a mulled wine reception at 1.30pm. There will be music and dancing from 4pm to 6pm.
A free bus service will be provided by Lally Coaches to take residents to the hotel. It will depart from Shantalla Community Centre at 1pm sharp with a return bus at 6pm.
Mayor of Galway city Cllr Michael Crowe will attend the event together with Bishop Martin Drennan, Michael D Higgins TD and local councillors Billy Cameron, Padraic Conneelly, Colette Connolly and Ollie Crowe.
