An evening workshop on interview skills due to take place in Galway next week will give people the chance to improve their interview technique and help to educate children in Tanzania.
The event will take place in Days Hotel on Thursday October 30 at 8pm. Days Hotel is offering its WellPark suite along with tea and refreshments for this very deserving cause. The workshop will be delivered by Seán Connaughton who has recently returned from Africa.
“I am making this interviewing skills workshop available to benefit people who want to excel at interviews as well as raising money to educate children in Tanzania, Africa,” said Mr Connaughton. “All participants have to do is offer a personal and private donation on the night. Every penny will go to the children who need it the most, it’s a very deserving cause. The children who ordinarily wouldn’t get a chance for education will be educated at the Pallotti Secondary School, in Singida, Tanzania.”
The 70 minute workshop guarantees to provide a humorous and practical approach to interviews. “The skills which participants will learn are based on individuals who have used them successfully. It will be a very memorable experience as I will be using case studies,” said Mr. Connaughton.
“The workshop promises to be inspirational, action packed with hot tips, and will whet your appetite on how to get the best out of yourself. I will also explain how individuals can positively influence the interview through constructive preparation, dress style, and how to ace the interview by doing your best using a simple and easy approach.”
