Zenith Hairdressing is the catalyst behind a new initiative to raise money for Breast Cancer Ireland. Paul Griffin and his team at Zenith Hairdressing spearheaded a campaign to glamorise and photograph 12 prominent women GAA sports stars for a 2011 calendar.
All proceeds will be going to Breast Cancer Ireland and specifically the creation of the countries first national Breast Cancer Tissue Biobank, which will speed up discovery and ultimately translate research into more effective and efficient treatment for patients diagnosed with this disease.
The calendars have created quite a stir around the country since they were launched last month and make excellent stocking fillers this Christmas while helping support a very worthy cause. The calendars are available from Zenith Hairdressing, Eyre Street, Galway at €5 each.
