Tara McFadden, owner educogym Oranmore Galway will host a conference entitled ‘Future Health’ in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Lough Atalia Road, Galway on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 7.30pm. Guest speaker on the evening will be Martin Forde, President of the Irish Association of Holistic Medicine. His talk will include the vital importance of Protein Retention in reversing the ageing process.
Preventing fat from taking over where firm lean tissue should be. This is a cornerstone of the educogym system, which is currently reversing and preventing aging for hundreds of Irish people every week. Anti-aging is one aspect of the Four Pillars of Nutrition: How Protein Retention, Antioxidants, Minerals and Correct Oils support health, immunity and well-being at all stages of life.
Ms McFadden comments “People often have many questions on the whole area of health, nutrition and fitness and so I’m hosting a conference where everyone can ask questions and be informed and educated in a relaxed atmosphere”.
Most fitness programmes crucially fail to take account of the body’s ability to burn fat. However, educogym focuses entirely on this aspect of the body and on ways to make this mechanism work more effectively. “When you lower your calorie intake you are, in essence, starving yourself,” she points out. “Likewise, people assume that they need to exhaust themselves when exercising but this is not the case.
“When you train with educogym, you invigorate and activate the muscle cells though short, intensive training. This stimulates the muscle tissue more effectively meaning you end up burning more fat. Being in shape is important, but improving your overall health and relieving those stress factors, will improve the quality of your life,” she said.
Many people are finding it hard to cope with the recession and the recent weather has put everybody to the test! People are joining gyms to help them keep, not only physically fit, but mentally and physically ahead. Ms McFadden, alongside Martin Forde, as part of this conference, is working with new and existing members on building a positive mental attitude, as much as nutrition, training and losing weight. With the IMF in town and a tough budget ahead, it should help to alleviate that stress factor!
