Rising comedy star Roisin Conaty to play Laughter Lounge

ROISIN CONATY, the pulchritudinous Co Kerry born, London based comic, described by Time Out as “a seriously talented young lady” is coming to Galway.

Roisin plays The Laughter Lounge at the Róisín Dubh next Wednesday at 8.30pm. She won the Best Newcomer award at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The Irish Times has described her as “very much the coming thing in stand-up”.

She described her stand-up to Londonisfunny.com as “sort of story-based and quite truthful. I also do characters and sometimes work under the guise of The Cakes with Caroline Ginty.”

Support is from Tom Deacon, the 2007 winner of The Chortle Student Comedian of the Year. The MC is the brilliant Keith Farnan.

Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and Zhivago.
