Huge numbers of fashionistas turned out for the inaugural Glamour in Galway event last weekend. Event organiser Mandy Maher has this week announced the successful fashion and beauty showcase will now be an annual event.
Glamour in Galway offered a fantastic shopping experience with some 65 exhibitors on the day, and guests were treated to a trio of fashion shows from Brown Thomas, Athlone Towncentre, and exhibiting boutiques, along with makeovers, style advice, and more from event host RTE’s Brendan Courtney, celebrity make-up artist Derrick Carberry, and world champion hairstylist Mary Kennedy of MOHH Hairdressing.
“The event was a huge success with numbers exceeding our expectations threefold,” said Mandy Maher of Catwalk Modelling Agency. “On behalf of Ger and myself, I would like to thank all our exhibitors, production crew, models, guests, and sponsors and look forward to working with you all again next year.”
