Glamour in Galway has announced that world champion hair stylist, Mary Kennedy, is to join event host and star of RTÉ’s ‘Off the Rails’, Brendan Courtney and celebrity make-up artist Derrick Carberry to make up the event’s glam squad.
The trio will be carrying out makeovers and offering professional advice to guests at the all day style, beauty, fashion and pampering event taking place on Sunday, November 14 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway.
Ms Kennedy has worked on fashion and hair shoots all over the country and her distinctive creations have been featured in fashion magazines and on television programmes including The Afternoon Show, Off the Rails and TV3's Ireland AM. In 2004, she claimed the main title at the International Hairdressing Competition in Paris and won a gold medal for Full Fashion Look World Championships just three weeks later. The double win was unprecedented and she still remains the only Irish hairdresser to claim the titles.
