Connacht Rugby has reached the four corners of the earth, according to CEO Gerry Kelly.
In a recent Show Your Support photo competition, Connacht fans turned up at locations far and wide - San Francisco’ s Golden Gate Bridge, Brazil’s Iguazu Falls, South Africa’s Table Mountain, and even high in the Alps. However the winner of the competition, which invited supporters to submit pictures of Connacht flags and jerseys in various exotic locations around the world, was Mark Gurley’ s picture at Base Camp on Mount Everest.
Gerry Kelly said: “We were blown away by some of the entries for this competition. It shows that support for Connacht Rugby has reached the four corners of the earth.
