•Galway women representing Caherlistrane, Glenamaddy, Kilkerrin/Clonberne and Milltown GAA clubs are taking part in Saturday’s National Gaelic4Mothers Blitz Day.
Sixty-seven teams, representing 19 counties are competing in the blitz. Ladies Football developed the Gaelic4Mothers initiative as a way of involving mothers and older women in their local clubs in a more meaningful, healthy and sociable way.
Now more than 800 players have registered to take part in this year’s National Blitz Day.
