From Thursday September 23 until Sunday September 26, Kelly’s Bar will be hosting a variety of party events for the Galway Oyster Festival. Enjoy a range of seafood dishes from the menu or swing by on Saturday and Sunday where you can pour your own pint of Guinness with oyster tasting from 3pm.
The weekend kicks off at 5pm on Thursday with Duke Special and some very special guests toasting to Arthur Upstairs at Kelly’s. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster for only €5 but get in early as a gig like this is not to be missed. In the bar on Thursday from 9pm Mad Uncle Harry present Roots & Ruckus Session and there is No Cover Charge. Friday night plays host to International DJ Fergie who is at the forefront of serious peak time electronic. If that’s not your cup of tea you can always relax in the cozy cubbies downstairs where DJ Mark will be playing party hits until late. Spend the day lazing in Kelly’s on Saturday where you can taste the finest oysters Galway has to offer and test your bar skills by pouring your very own pint of Guinness.
The restaurant opens from 10.30am until 8pm daily and the menu options include Kelly’s Famous All Day Breakfast which cost from just €7.95 and includes free tea/coffee and toast. The value for money has no compromise on the quality or service. The extensive range of delicious main courses will ensure you always get change back out of a tenner.
The broad selection of exciting contemporary dishes and traditional favourites caters for all tastes, while a wide range of vegetarian and gluten free options are also available.
In the evening the Trad Session start at 6pm and from 9pm and later Saturday night two DJ’s over three floors with no cover charge and late bars is a guarantee that you will party all night.
