On Saturday September 25 gambling enthusiasts will have the opportunity to participate in a poker night in aid of the Simon Community, which will take place in surely the most novel setting ever for a poker game in Galway.
The venue for this entertaining evening will be the Irish Navy’S largest vessel the LE Niamh. With a fun night of poker, a plentiful supply of snacks, and a fully stocked bar service it promises to be a memoraBle and enjoyable evening on the Navy ship.
The event is being hosted by the Eglinton Casino and the Navy with all proceeds from the night going to Galway Simon Community which provides food, accommodation, and support services to homeless men and women in Galway.
