The 12 new flowerboxes which have been placed along the city’s canals “will add colour to our walkways” according to Fine Gael councillor Pádraig Conneely.
Cllr Conneely, who is the chair of the Corrib Board to Trustees, has welcomed the installation of the newly installed boxes.
“The canal walkways have become very popular for locals and visitors to the our city,” he said. “It is important that they look well as they are very much part of the city’s heritage and culture
