ARDAL O’HANLON, the multi awarding winning comedian, and one of the most acclaimed stand-ups to emerge from Ireland, ever, is coming back to Galway.
Ardal plays The Laughter Lounge in the Róisín Dubh on Wednesday at 8.30pm. Ardal is best known for playing Fr Dougal Maguire in Fr Ted and he has also enjoyed success as Thermoman/George Sunday in the BBC sitcom My Hero. He has also hosted the BBC’s The Stand Up Show.
As part of the Super 8 Shots Film Festival this show will also feature a game of Whose Film Is It Anyways? with comics from The Spontaneous Theatre People & Snatch Comedy doing voice improvisations on footage from the 1950s to the 1970s, as well as on 1970s B-Movies in 8mm film format.
The MC will be Ian Coppinger. Tickets are available from the Róisín Dubh and Zhivago.
