Minister for Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs Pat Carey has approved a grant of €23,550 for Coiste Pobail na Tulaí to complete works at Tulach Community Centre, Baile na hAbhann, Co Galway.
It is expected that this grant will be used mainly to cover health and safety works. Announcing the grant, Minister Carey said that he understood that great work was being done at the centre and that local summer colleges were benefiting from facilities there as well.
“Tulach Community Centre is an important resource for the people of the area and for the summer colleges and this grant will improve facilities at the centre for the future,” he said.
