SARAH O’TOOLE, a former member of Galway Youth Theatre and a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting, will be giving acting classes for adults in Galway starting next week.
The introduction to acting classes start on October 15 and will be held on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for six weeks in the Anno Santo Hotel, Salthill. There are 12/14 places available. Classes cost €120/100. The classes are open to all levels of ability.
The improvisation and mask weekend is a workshop based on the ideas of Russian actor Michael Chekhov. It takes place in the Anno Santo on October 18 and 19 from 10am to 5pm. There are 12/14 places available. Classes cost €65/50.
Sarah will also hold the working with text classes in November and an introduction to Michael Chekhov in December.
Sarah trained in Moscow as part of her MA in directing at Middlesex University. She deals with the work of Michael Chekhov and improvisation.
