The Ardilaun has just launched its summer menus for sizzling barbecues.
The Ardilaun boasts landscaped grounds where patrons can enjoy al fresco dining, outdoor heaters, and a water feature in picturesque gardens. Alternatively, indoor arrangements will be made subject to weather conditions.
There are two office party barbecues taking place at The Ardilaun this summer, on Thursday June 24 and Friday July 16, which cater for small groups or individuals. Whether as a social group or with work colleagues, family group, etc, patrons can enjoy a barbecue including steaks, chicken, pork, and vegetarian option for €25. The evening will begin with a glass of bubbly on arrival at 7.30pm, followed by barbecue and there will be spot prizes during the evening and music with the Guinness Jazz Band until late.
David O’Donnell, executive head chef, and the kitchen team at The Ardilaun have compiled a variety of mouthwatering menu options to choose from, with traditional, international, and gourmet menus for private parties. The international influences include Mediterranean, Asian, and American styles such as steaks marinated in olive oil, garlic and thyme, tandoori chicken, terryaki salmon, and tiger prawns. For vegetarians, satay kebabs and wild mushroom and leek patties are always a favourite. Those with more adventurous tastebuds could try the grilled squid stuffed with tomato risotto, or saltim boca, which consists of pork with sage and proscuitto. All of the menu options include a wide selection of salads, breads, and baked potatoes. Patrons can enjoy a nice glass of rosé wine or a summer cocktail on the terrace to complement the barbecue options.
Private barbecues run throughout the summer for groups from 30 to 200 persons with free parking available on site. The summr barbecues are ideal for a corporate day out, or for a sports and social outing. Alternatively, patrons can entertain clients or celebrate a family event.
This year’s teddy bears picnic and barbecue will take place in The Ardilaun on Sunday June 20, Father’s Day - a family fun day out in aid of Barnardos and in conjunction with Select Hotels of Ireland.
