JERRY FISH & The Mudbug Club will be bringing their much loved “indie lounge lizard schmooze, mariachi swampadelica” styled act and music to Monroe’s Live on Thursday June 3.
On the night Jerry and the boys will play songs from their new album The Beautiful Untrue, as well as many of the old favourites.
The Beautiful Untrue mixes New Orleans jazz, Brazilian funk, and black mambo jive, with some lounge lizard crooning. There are also guest vocal performances from Dublin’s rockabilly queen Imelda May and indie vocalist Carol Keogh. Hotpress said the album “is one of those records that raises the cool in the room without breaking a sweat.”
Tickets are €19 from Monroe’s Tavern and Zhivago Records. For more information contact 091 - 583397.
