Environment Minister John Gormley, will officially open the new constituency office of Green Party senator, Niall Ó Brolcháin on Friday May 7.
Minister Gormley will cut the ‘green ribbon’ at 52 Lower Salthill as part of his many engagements in Galway city on the day.
“I am delighted Minister Gormley will be on hand to officially open the office,” said Sen Ó Brolcháin. “It is important to have a local base within the community, a meeting place where I can listen to queries and provide advice in confidence.”
Many local Green party members are participating in the set up and garden clearance of the premises and Sen Ó Brolcháin has thanked “all those who rolled up their sleeves and got involved”.
