THE BRILLIANT Cathy Davey plays at the Town Hall Theatre on Saturday May 8 at 8pm for what will be the first date on this full theatre nationwide tour.
Cathy is opening her tour in Galway because of the great support she received from this city at her previous concerts in the Róisín Dubh. The tour also marks the releases of her new album The Nameless, the follow up to 2007’s excellent Tales Of Silversleeve and her debut Something Ilk.
The last two years have been exciting ones for the singer-songwriter with Tales Of Silversleeve enjoying both public and critical acclaim. It also received a Choice Prize nomination. Cathy herself won Best Female at the 2008 Meteor Music Awards and The Irish Times put her in the top three in its list of The 50 Best Irish Acts of 2009.
