The Ralphs to play Citóg @ The Cellar

TUAM pop-punk band The Ralphs will take to the downstairs stage of The Cellar Bar tomorrow for the venue’s new original music night, Citóg.

The band - Jamie Ralph (guitar/vocals ), Conor Ralph (guitar ), Leigh Ralph (drums ), and Brian Ruane (bass ) - are strongly influenced by The Libertines, but their songs are also slice’o life dramas of Co Galway life with a particularly Tuam twist.

They released their debut single ‘Waste Of Time’ recently and it received the thumbs up from Hotpress. The band is currently working on its debut EP, due out in the summer.

Also playing on the night are The Followers of Otis, led by Eoin Dolan. The band play folk, blues, and roots music, with a big emphasis on vocal harmonies. The Followers recently released their fine debut album And Those To Come Hereafter, which revealed a sweetly melodic, Beatleseque side to their sound.

Last but not least come the Galway/Donegal foursome Rural Savage with their punk-infused political style of music.

Admission is free.
