A CLASSICAL concert for children with Galway’s’ newly formed Soundpost Quartet takes place in the St Patrick’s Band Hall this Sunday.
The Soundpost Quartet - Nicola Geddes, Nuala Ní Chanainn, Anne Marie Taylor, and Vincent Hurly - will play pieces from the ‘American Quartet’ by Dvorak, Boccherini’s Menuett ,and the famous waltz from Sleeping Beauty, at this Adventures in Music organised show.
Doors open at 2pm for children’s pre-concert activities with the show starting at 2.30pm. Tickets are €5 or €20 for a family and are available at the door or in advance from the Town Hall Theatre and www.mykidstime.ie Children under two get in free. For more information contact 087 - 0563029.
