Exciting new courses provided by the Learning Curve Institute

Westport based The Learning Curve Institute, one of the west’s fastest expanding training and education providers, is now enrolling students on a host of internationally recognised, FETAC accredited courses and workshops in Castlebar, Sligo, Galway and many other areas all over Ireland.

The Learning Curve Institute has recently been in the spotlight due to the high profile workshop entitled “Legal Highs - a description of the available head shops substances and their effect”. The first workshop took place to a packed audience in Sligo and has since been prominently featured on both RTÉ's Morning Ireland and in The Irish Times. Due to its overwhelming success, the workshop is now being rolled out in various locations all over the country.

“It has always been our aim to bring fully accredited courses to areas all over Ireland that generally do not benefit from the vast education and training opportunities available in Dublin,” said Seán Foy, Director and Head of Counselling and Addiction Departments. “We will be starting this process by rolling out workshops and FETAC accredited addiction courses in Mayo, Limerick, Cork, Athlone, Sligo, Galway and Bray.”

The Learning Curve Institute boasts a host of experts in the fields of drug awareness, addiction, counselling and languages and during the coming weeks the LCI will start a host of FETAC accredited part time study courses in the areas of addiction studies, French and Spanish in Castlebar, Sligo and Galway.

The Learning Curve Institute is also enrolling for several language courses: FETAC Level 3 and 4 in French and Spanish Language (for beginners and intermediates ); Leaving Cert revision courses and French and Spanish for the catering industry.

The FETAC Level 3 and 4 language courses start in Castlebar on the week beginning April 26 and the FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate in Community Addiction studies begins on May 4 in Castlebar and May 6 in Galway.
