Sherry FitzGerald Kavanagh is among the finalists in the 2010 Sherry FitzGerald Franchise of the Year awards. The announcement was made at the company’s annual conference in Dublin recently.
The Sherry FitzGerald Franchise of the Year Awards is an annual event where some 80 franchised offices are benchmarked on their standards of service, business acumen, and professionalism.
Ian McCarthy, managing director of Sherry FitzGerald countrywide, noted at the event that the standards this year were the “highest ever” and said this was due to the “tougher market conditions that demand superior standards of service”.
Tony Kavanagh of Sherry FitzGerald Kavanagh said he was committed to upholding the high standards of customer service which had helped the company to scoop the accolade. “In this market we know we have to go that extra mile to find a suitable property for our buyers and get a sale through to closing for our sellers,” he said. “Our intention is to continue to lead the market in Galway to provide a quality service and deliver real value for money to vendors and purchasers alike.”
A key factor in winning this prestigious award was the company’s high ratings in customer service levels. “Over the past number of years, given the hectic pace of the market there is no doubt that service levels to customers were impacted,” Mr McCarthy said. “In Sherry FitzGerald we have always and will continue to train our people to focus on the customer and their needs. This awards process is just one aspect of our in house training and standards in practice process.”
