A team of Galway photographers, writers, and artists will this weekend attempt to put together a magazine from start to finish, in just 48 hours.
The magazine is the brainchild of Galway-based photographer Reg Gordon. Reg and his team will congregate at midnight tomorrow for their first meeting and will work together to have the magazine published by midnight on Saturday on the online publishing website, issuu.com
“This is just a group of like-minded people coming together with one idea - to have fun and produce a document of a weekend in Galway,” says Reg. “It’s a step away from the usual in so far as it is completely commercial free.
“Everyone is working in an amateur capacity, all doing it for the love of the project. It’s something I just decided to put out there and am incredibly impressed with the response - people have cleared their weekends to be involved.”
