Galway bands Disconnect 4 and The Coonics, along with Identity Parade, who have strong Galway connections, have been chosen to take part in the inaugural Tiger Untamed band competition.
Disconnect 4 from Galway city and The Coonics from Tuam will be among the 24 acts from across the country doing battle in Mullingar’s Annebrook House Hotel on Friday April 16 and Friday April 30 and are calling on their local fans to show their support on the night.
The Tiger Untamed band competition has a prize package worth more than €20,000 including a cash prize of €5,000; recording time in the Nutshed Studio; €6,000 worth of equipment from Music Maker; a professional photo-session courtesy of FINNimaje; and a video shoot and coverage in Hotpress.
