Michael D Higgins, the Galway Labour TD and one of the most prominent figures in Irish politics, will give a public interview in NUI, Galway next week.
The event, entitled Michael D Higgins - The Life, Times and Works, takes place in The O'Flaherty Theatre, main concourse, NUIG, on Friday February 12 at 7.30pm and will see Dep Higgins interviewed by The Irish Times’ Harry McGee.
The event is organised by the NUI Galway Alumni Group. Admission is €10 and is payable at the door on the night. All proceeds are in aid of COPE Galway.
