Eyre Square Centre shopping extravaganza for charity

The Eyre Square Centre presents its annual pre-Christmas shopping extravaganza in aid of 16 local charities and not for profit organizations, on Friday November 27 from 6pm to 9.30pm.

Customers can enjoy a range of musical entertainment, fashion shows, refreshments, free face painting, and raffles, as well as discounted shopping in more than 70 stores. There will be free car-parking on the night for ticketholders.

Olivia Roche, assistant operations manager at Eyre Square Centre, said: “We wanted to host an event for our customers but we also wanted to do something special to give back to a community that has always supported us”.

This event will kick off the holiday season with a fun filled night of entertainment but also allows us to help 16 charities in the community that are in need of funds at this time of year.” Tickets for this event are limited and can be purchased for €10 in the centre at the customer service desk on Level 1 or from participating charities.

Participating charities are Irish Wheelchair Association, CD’s Helping Hands, Enable Ireland, Cystic Fibrosis, COPE Galway, Croi, Galway Rape Crisis Centre, Galway Dyslexia Association, Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, Special Olympics, Galway Hospice, ISPCC, Galway Simon Community, John Paul Centre (Kiltulla Community House ), Down Syndrome Ireland and Suicide Ireland.
