Have your say at GAA club forum

It is time for club members to have their say when the Galway GAA Club Forum takes place on Tuesday November 10.

A key component in the development of the Galway Strategic Plan, the club forum will be held in the Claregalway Hotel (7.30pm ).

Every GAA club in Galway is invited to participate by sending four members, with the recommendation that one of the participants be a player, one a female member, one a juvenile officer, and one an officer of the adult club.

A large turnout is expected for this event which takes the form of a workshop where club representatives will discuss their views and share their opinions on a range of topics including games development, fixtures, coaching, volunteering, urban development, rural depopulation and communications.

The Galway board says the feedback from the forum will be used to help shape the Galway GAA Strategic Plan and the event will be coordinated by two experienced facilitators from the GAA headquarters, Croke Park.
