Closing date looms for JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur competition

JCI Galway’s 11th annual young entrepreneur competition is currently underway and nominations are invited for the 2009 Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. The closing date for application is next Monday October 12. The competition has been a significant accomplishment not only for JCI Galway, but also for the winner and the sponsors involved in the competition.

The JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur award is an internationally recognised award, which aims to identify, encourage and reward innovative entrepreneurs in the Galway region, who are contributing to the community, creating much valued employment and making a difference to the local economy.

Participating entrepreneurs will find that they not only raise the profile of their business in the local community throughout the duration of the competition, but they will get the chance to network with fellow entrepreneurs and the sponsoring businesses involved with JCI GYE.

Criteria for entrants for JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur Competition.

The awards competition is open to young business people based in County Galway aged between eighteen and forty years old, who was a founder or co-founder of a business in Galway, be primarily responsible for the recent performance of their business and the business must be in operation for more than one year.

Members of the business community are invited to enter, nominate and to encourage associates to enter and be in with a chance of winning this prestigious JCI Galway Young Entrepreneur competition.
