Crisis pregnancy agency Cura has announced the establishment of a new post natal support service which will offer support and help to mothers of new babies who may be feeling overwhelmed or isolated in their new role.
The service will give new mothers access to counselling and other support services.
Cura provides a range of supports and services to women dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. The organisation also provides counselling and support services for the fathers and other family members. Cura provides non-directive counselling, which means the counsellor will not judge or make decisions for the client. The new postnatal support service comes as part of Cura’s drive to expand its services.
Cura services include pregnancy testing, pregnancy counselling, and support after abortion as well as a LoCall helpline 1850 622 626.
