The Long Walk Market is a new business venture and arts space, which will be held every Saturday, upstairs at Nimmo’s Restaurant by the Spanish Arch.
The market has nine permanent artisan stalls, selling re-styled vintage clothes, quirky printed goods, antique rugs from around the world, knitted products, hand-made jewellery, kitchenalia, and products from an organic, free-range butcher.
Unique to this market is the fact that each week there will be a special guest stall-holder, ranging from a raw-food provider to a natural soap maker. The venue will also feature the work of a different artist on the walls every week.
The market is the brainchild of Aoibheann McNamara, Jennie O’Connell, and Jess Murphy and it will also host knitting and jewellery making classes, and music from various DJs.
