There were no shortage lots of smiles in the National Lottery offices last Friday when Siobhan and Noel Greaney from Carnmore collected their Lotto jackpot win of €9,794,147. The jackpot was won in the Lotto draw on Wednesday September 2, when Siobhan purchased her ticket in Glynn’s Centra Store in Carnmore on the day of the draw.
Mrs Greaney said:“The last week has been a rollercoaster ride for Noel, myself and family. We’ve had lots of good wishes and we’d like to thank everyone for that. Right now, we’re planning to buy a dog, a retriever, whom we plan to name ‘Millie’, in honour of our million-euro jackpot win. After that, it’ll be back to normal, we hope. We are very fortunate in that we’ve been blessed with two fantastic and very supportive families who will celebrate and share in our good fortune”.
