Galway for Europe is encouraging Galwegians to register to vote on the Lisbon Treaty before the deadline expires on Tuesday September 15.
To register log on to www.checktheregister.ie or by dropping in to the Galway City Council or the Galway County Council and seek to have your name added.
“The decisions we make as a country in the coming months will determine our future for many years to come, especially with regards to the Lisbon Treaty,” the group said in a statement. “It is crucial that all those entitled to vote ensure they are registered so that they can take part in this decision.”
