The body of a young Galway truck driver killed in Italy last week has been brought home.
John Paul Mannion (25 ) from Moylough, in north Galway was killed when the cattle truck he was driving collided with another last week near the city of Verona. A requiem Mass will take place today (Thursday ) at 12 noon in Moylough Church, with the funeral afterwards to Moylough cemetery.
Mr Mannion was a popular young man whose death has caused great shock in the Moylough area.
He is survived by his parents, Tom and Marie Mannion, his sister Mary and brothers Thomas and Patrick, and his young son Dylan.
