PETER PAN, the boy who would never grow up and who could fly, has enchanted audiences since JM Barrie introduced him to readers and theatre goers in the early 1900s.
This month the Power Performance Academy, run by the award winning directors Sean and Brian Power, and choreographer Cherie Worthington Eyre, will stage the musical Peter Pan in the Town Hall Theatre.
The show will run from Wednesday August 12 to Saturday 15 at 7.30pm with matinees on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 at 2.30pm and Sunday 16 at 12.30pm and 4.30pm.
The fun begins in the London nursery of the Darling family where three children are visited by Peter Pan, who, with the help of his tiny friend, the fairy Tinkerbell, takes them on a magical flight to Neverland.
This enchanted island is home to Peter and numerous and colourful characters like The Lost Boys, Mr Grin the Crocodile, mermaids, fairies, and the scheming and evil Captain Hook.
